She died very young 1930. None of her grandchildren really knew her. She went by Jane. The 1910 Census for Hamilton shows, she was born in Texas. Her father George was born in Alabama Aug. 1847. And Sally is shown to have been born in Mississippi. I am told she was born Sarah Rhoda Webster. Jane Sparks

    1. Any Information
    2. I am looking for any "tidbits" of information on Alice Cora Williams. She was born in Pickens County, Alabama in 1871. Her family (parents & siblings) settled in Bell County circa 1883. She first married J.M. Cox and had two children. One died in infancy and is buried in Dallas Cemetery near Holland, Texas. The family moved to Milam County some time around 1900. Cora later married J ames Oscar Hightower - probably a second marriage for him also. She was last known to be living in Cameron, Texas, in June 1935. I have been unsuccessful in locating any of these people in census records. Help! Larry

    3. I wouldn't mind having a look-see also. I have several pictures of my ancestors who resided in Bell county and not sure what studio they were made in. Would like to compare. Thank you, Jo L [email protected] wrote: Dawn, I would like to see the picture. I don't recognize the names but I have so many of my family pictures made at Weatherington Studio in Temple - it just interests me. My families, for the most part lived in Falls county which joins Bell county but Temple was the nearest large town so that is where they traveled to for pictures I guess. Only if you are doing for others, I don't want to put you out, but I would enjoy seeing and just in case the name ever shows up I will have a scanned copy. Thank you. Surnames: French Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CkB.2ACI/1958 Message Board Post: I have come across an old photo of Jeff & Effie French and their 3 children, 1 boy, 2 small girls. I can only read one childs name, Ester. The picture is stamped on the bottom with this... "Weatherington Bros., Main St. Temple, TX". Which is in Bell County, TX. I found this picture in a box buried under our tool shed, this was the only picture in the box of water logged papers that are unreadable, but the picture is in mint condition. I want to return it to the family. As it is a neat picture and needs to go home. If you want a look see, email me and I'll scan it and send you a copy, if you verify it belongs to you I will send it. Thanks, Dawn
