Utley is just a bridge now with the sign Utley by it. There are people that live there but nothing else. There is an old church that has been abandoned with a cemetery. I drove by it 7 years before someone mowed it and I saw the headstones. I stopped by one day and on one of these tapes I have around here are the inscriptions. Bastrop is the nearest town, 78602 zip code. Take Hwy 71 west @1 mile, right on Cnty Rd 969 and go about 5 or 6 miles and you will see the bridge and Utley sign.
