Jane, I did see the article and was very proud for you all. I probably still have it around here somewhere. It's important that we preserve the smaller cemeteries in what ever way we can. It's also wonderful that the landowner was receptive to the idea. Texas has two date a year that is mandated by law that the landowners are supposed to provide access to these cemeteries surrounded by their land but they all don't cooperate. Glad to see those that do. I will add your names to the list. Do you have a family reunion each year? If so, please post to the list each year as a reminder so maybe other relatives can participate. Summer is usually the time the reunions go on. Bastrop probably has one every weekend for one family or the other. Wish they were all published. Thanks for providing the information.
