    1. [TXBASTRO] About the virus
    2. We have all been told that the virus' cannot execute unless you download the file and open it, so again the main rule with email is DO NOT OPEN A FILE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHO IT IS FROM. I would add, in this day and time, also unless you know it was purposely sent to you. When you get a file and don't know whether to open it or not, DON'T. Send a message to the person and state you received the file but deleted it. AND then delete it from your email list AND from your trash can. In the past two days I have received multiple emails that contain the virus. One was named DearDorris.doc.pif and today it's named TheFirstSeargent.doc.pif. In the body it says something like: Hi, how are you. I sent you this file for you to review. thanks. None of these came from Lisa. It looks like a real email address with a name attached. One my TX administrator's list they are stating that McAfee is catching it after it is opened. Of course you should always keep the latest version and download the new files once in a while. I hope I can keep these virus' away because if I loose my family file, 27,180 individuals will be lost again. Guess we can kind of get an idea of what the flu epidemic of 1918 did.
