The Handbook of Texas talked about a B. D. Orgain..an attorney and also Orgains School in Bastrop. Must have been a land owning individual. Michele

    3. Yes, there was a prominent attorney in Bastrop named B. D. ORGAIN. He had a son named Frank, also an attorney (probably more children -- but Frank is all I can remember). Frank's son was also named B. D. ORGAIN, also an attorney, but this B. D. lived in Beaumont. If you do a search for "Orgain" in the _Bastrop Advertiser_ newspaper abstracts on the website, you'll get lots of hits on this family. Sara B.
