    1. [TXBASTRO] Lunacy Index
    2. Lost a relative after 1909? Could be they were sent to the State Insane Asylum in Austin, TX for a while. I have posted the whole index for the volume that has this information, on the Deeds section on the Bastrop County website. There are two cemeteries for the people that died while being there but the headstones only have numbers on them. I'll have to find my phone number for the grounds keeper and they will do look ups if you give them the name. They still consider the information privileged. At the end of the list is the questions that were asked. ***** is where the information was entered in the record book. In the records is the judge and jury names plus the amount they got paid. I was able to get the information on the people up to about page 50 so I'll type that up and get them posted too. It's a great source for some of our missing people, plus has 6 names, on each page, of residents that served on the jury.
