Hi, I am looking for information about James Franklin Cunningham who married Emily Scallons, probably in Bastrop, Texas. Children all born in Bastrop were: Gid (may have been Gideon) Tom (Thomas) Sarah Rebecca (Sallie) my grandmother b. 19 Oct 1889 d. 31 May 1980 Ida Lena Elword b. 2 Sept 1898 d. 22 Jan 1963 Frank b. 15 Mar 1895 d. 22 Dec 1917 Tradition says that one of the grandfathers, maybe James Franklin or maybe his father, was in English Navy and jumped ship when it arrived and went awol and ended up in Texas.
