Hi Jack.. Is'nt it amazing how we grasp at any straw!! And that's not to say we should'nt!! I don't believe we have a connection, my M.C. was born (as far as I know) in Maury co Ky, married my ggrandfather there in 1847 then migrated to Bastrop co in 1874. It has come to my knowledge, more or less, that the Rasors I descend from did'nt own property in or around Bastrop Co..I have them on 1880 census but not sure yet where, exactly, they resided there..I, again, found the father H.H. Rasor residing with a son and family in Hico, Hamilton co, on 1900 census at age 78, then from records found his grave in same county having died in 1903, then, since, have found ggchildren residing in California with a living father at 101 yrs of age..only thing is they don't know much for family history and won't share much of what they know..sad..I appreciate your input and wish I could connect with you..just thought the Beaukiss cemetery sounded like a possible and it still might..thanks again!! Catharine was b. in Henderson CO KY 26 Feb 1846 and d. 6 Sep 1890 in Hopkins CO TX, near Sulphur Springs. She m. 1. Lewis Hurley and they had 3 children, Malissie, Elizabeth Ann and Henry. She m. 2. George A Rhoads (Rhodes) 26 Feb 1846 and they had 7 children, Jasper (for whom I was named), Elizabeth Diana, Catharine M., Albert, B.F., F.M.. And Miriah J. Do any of these fit in with your lines?
