The Old Red Rock Cemetery survey is on the cemetery project page (click on USGENWEB cemetery project link). Although these are separate cemeteries and not next to each other, the families are intertwined, as well as those in the New Red Rock Cemetery and Bateman. This is such a wonderful cemetery. Stepping through the gate is like stepping back 100 years and joining those that settled this county. The day I surveyed it there were people just stopping to go in and look at the headstones. The oak trees are beautiful but are getting old. Part of the money collected will be to plant new oak trees for future generations to enjoy.
