Searching for further information on James L. DUFF b. 1780; d. 1800-1809 Austin Co., Texas; md. Mary PARKS Tennessee or Kentucky. I was told that he was the son of James and Agnes (CARSON) DUFF. James and his son James fought in the War of 1812 or French and Indian Wars and drew land in Hardeman Co., Tennessee; then James L. went to Austin, Texas where he drew more land.
