A couple following from a distance behind stopped and retrieved it but were unable to stop the pickup. They have tried police, post offices, etc in the area, but have been unable to locate the owner. The crate contained infant clothing, bronzed shoes, baby treasures and data for Lydia Aileen Butler born May 9, 1986 in Woodland Hospital, Lufkin, Angelina County, TX. She was born to Lynda Wigrer(?- name is unclear) Butler and Randy Butler who then lived in Crockett, Houston County, TX. The only items in the crate not belonging to Lydia were two dresses about eight year old size, each with a note attached saying, This is what your mother wore at .. Paternal grandparents were Mr. & Mrs. Roy Butler of Henderson, Rusk County, TX, and maternal were Mr. & Mrs. Donald Wigrer(? unclear) of Wesley.
