Joachim and Christian may be related, but I haven't found anything to back that up. Carolyn Grube is also working on the lineage for the Grubes and the Schroeder. She has a querry on the Surname Helper for Austin County dated May 2, 2000. I received a lot of the information on the Schroeders from her, but only the Joachim Schroeder side. Do you have any information on Joachim's parents and beyond? I feel our families are tied together up the line in Germany. I can't find anything on Christian's parents. Christian and Joachim are both buried in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery outside of Bellville. My family, starting with Christian is as follows: Christian married Marie Goldberg in Prussia. They had one child name Carl in Prussia before the immigrated to the US. They and two more children, August and Carolina (called Lena) in Cat Spring. Carl married Minna Luhn and had one child name Clara. August married Emma Lahrmann and had seven children. They were Alfred, Augusta, Anita, Leslie, Leola, Eleanor, and Edgar. Leslie is my dad. Carolina married a Mr. Zachers or Zachas. They had no children. I will be glad to share infomation if you think it is worth it.
