To Wolf and any Erndtebrueck, Germany families in Austin, Washington and Fayette counties of Texas: I am seeking descendats and information on the family history of Frederick WOLF and his wife, Maria Elizabeth TRIETE who emmigrted to Shelby, Texas from Erndtebrueck, Germany, in December 1851 with his brother, my great grandfather Christian Wolf and his wife, Marie Elizabeth WEYAND. The two brothers and their wives had followed a sister, Mary Elizbeth WOLF and her husband, Heinrich MARBURGER who arrived in 1846 aboard the York and first settled at Shelby. Another brother, George, came with the Marburgers. I am also interested in family istories of any other families that settled in Texas from Erntebrueck as well. Others i know of being the VOELKEL, AFFLERBACH, MENNS, SASSMANSHAUSEN, WEYAND, BIRKELBACHS etc who either came from Erndtebureck or other nearyby villages and wre married among each other over the year in Germany. Also, my grandfather Henry WOLFF (he added an extra "F") married Henrietta FIESELER, who I beleive was the daughter of Friederick Heinrich FIESELER and Marie Margrethe STORK of Dielingen. Henrietta supposedly came over about 1878 as a teenager with a step or half-brother and settled somewhere around Austin or Washington counties.
