Baker, who resided in Austin Coounty after discharge from the military on Nov. 6, 1865 at Hempstead, Tx. Was married in that area and produced one son, who may have been Ira A. Baker. Daniel's wife's name is unknown, however it is believed that she had family in Ireland, and that about 1875 she traveled there perhaps with the son. Daniel is also known to have been living in the Galviston area about 1878. Thanks for any assistance you may be able to offer. Richard L. Baker
