Bellville Times would have more than likely posted the obit, although a few miles are between New Ulm and Bellville - I would think that would be a likely paper; Brenham is also very close to New Ulm, but in Washington Co. I do not know the names of the Sealy or Brenham papers, but the chambers of commerce could give them to you if you are unable to garner said info on the net. Good Luck in your hunt.

The Sealy Paper is called the Sealy Newspaper. They have micro-film of their newspapers. There are a few years missing due to a fire. They do not have the means to print a copy of any article, it must be hand written directly from the micro-film. And the micro-film reader they have is not in very good shape. They also will not let you look at the older "original" newspapers if you cannot read the micro-film. If you need their phone number and address. I have it in a file and can sent it to you.
