I am new to this list and looking for info on the WHITTEN Family. My Grandmother was Martha Isabella WHITTEN born 6-3-1873 in Austin, TX. Her parents were Aaron Hill WHITTEN and Martha Elizabeth HOTCHKISS. Martha Elizabeth Hotchkiss Whitten Published a 364 page book of poems in 1886 entitled "Texas Garlands".
