I haven't been really following the search engine thread because the search engine on all my Texas and Oklahoma archives pages work. It's the same seach engine that I copied from my first archive webpage for Grady County OK. It uses a cgi script on rootsweb. Feel free to use it. There's no need to develop one from scratch when a working one is already available from Rootsweb. Also, I tried the Bell and Atoka county search engines and they worked for me. I thought the problem was with the search engine for the Bell County ARCHIVES. As far as I can tell, the search engine on the Bell County main site works just fine. Joe D.
