The system is case-sensitive, and by using lowercase for everything, we make it easier for researchers to find files through ftp navigation. By making sure we use lowercase now, it will eliminate hundreds of corrections later. Please share this with all your assistant file managers that are not on this list. Thanks and Happy Mothers Day!
