I created a list of people that were not CCs anywhere, but were archivists. Also on that list were people that were archivists in a region but were not CCs in that region. Nobody explained how the election was going to work. I thought I should send in a list, before April 1, of all the archivists that were working in OK, TX and GA, that were not CCs, as far as I knew. I wanted to make sure they were able to vote for NC, which they had never been able to do before. I left off people that already had a vote, such as Carolyn Golowka, who is a CC in Alabama and The state archivist there. Nobody contacted me about the county/assistant archivists and their right to vote. I contacted you, remember? I certainly did not understand that the EC was going to control the election for archives rep. That has always been done by the state archivists in the past. One state, one vote. Three states, still just one vote. Since nobody wants the job, maybe there will be more nominees this way. No apology.
