Sorry, David and all. My ISP (inu.net) connects to the internet through their ISP in Houston, TX. And Houston (including the ISP's building) has been flooding due to Tropical Storm Allison. I've been unable to get to the internet or make phone calls since June 9th. The internet connection came back this morning but I still can't make long distance calls. Local calls and 800# calls are all that go through so I am real glad MY ISP is a local call. 8-) I checked this morning and so far have resubb'ed to 2 mailing lists that I had been unsubbed from. I didn't have a message about being unsubbed from TXARCHIVES. If there are other CC"s in Houston or with connections through the Houston area they may be having similar problems. I live way out in the boonies and REALLY feel cut off with no web OR phone access. 8-) Debbie David W. Yep, Rootslady is going thru the same thing. My sister probably is too, though she is not with USGenWeb. She is on juno and already has enough trouble. LOL You are still on the list here.
