    3. David - Thanks for the direction. On corrections, I just point the people to the State website and tell them if the State changes it, then I will too. I have had three people write to me, I told that to them and only one has followed up - he forwarded the State email to me and I corrected the information. The other two have not done anything else that I know of. Lawrence E. Oliver - loliver@tyler.net -----Original Message----- From: David W. My father's amended birth record shows his adopted surname of Morgan. That is the one you get if you write to Austin. The record in Randall County shows his surname as Markham. He was born in 1922, so his is not in the batch the state put online. I upset somebody yesterday because I refused to correct his birth record as recorded by the state. His last name is Graves and the state had it as Groves. David dmorgan@efn.org David W. 3. We helped a woman find her birth certificate the other day. She wrote to me that her name was mispelled on the list and also that they couldn't find her birth certificate. I wrote back to her that the list is the way the state sent it out. She wrote back in a few days that she checked under the mispelled name and they found her birth certificate. It was mispelled on the original B.C. Gene
