No secrets, but unless you've got a programming language understood (VB, Perl, PlSql, cshell, etc.) it can be cumbersome to learn it all on the fly. The simple answer is I've got a copy of WS_FTP (other FTP programs have this ability), it has a script editor in it that I use to send FTP commands, (see the snip-it below). The difficult problem is, in this case, I used VB within an Access 2000 module to generate all the code that went into the script file I used..... that is far more complex, but fun if you dabble in it like I do for a living. I'd love to share it, but with all the quick and dirty hard coding I did, it would be difficult to support folk using it "as is". I'm working with Lee to come up with some happy answers I hope we can share. There's definitely a great deal of time we can save this group if we automate this process just a little further. I'll do what I can to share as time permits. Truth is knowledge in my book, and I have no right to hide truth.
