I believe Ray got a letter from the state that they do not correct the original records. I assume those are the mistakes Ray is talking about, not mistakes we have made. Many people were born in the 20s & 30s without being named in the first day. So their birth certificates do not list a name for them. At least the original record does not. An amended certicate ordered from the state might be correct. I have my doubts, though. My father has two Texas birth certificates, and they are both wrong. David [email protected] David W. I had to print out 939 lines, 20 lines at a time, and them put them all together. Gina, Larry, Ken, keep on keeping on! I'll stay out of your way! I started with 1936 because Buddy Holly and Roger Miller were both born in Texas that year. Buddy (Charles Hardin Holly) is on this one, and Roger Dean Miller is on the Tarrant County one. Oh, yeah, I met both of them. I never bought any of Roger's records, but he was a good friend of one of my uncles in high school at Erick OK. David [email protected] David W.
