    3. Mary Love, try this search engine. I just used the surname Barber on it, and I found Barber Cemetery, Barber in census records and vital records. 3. I haven't been really following the search engine thread because the search engine on all my Texas and Oklahoma archives pages work. It's the same seach engine that I copied from my first archive webpage for Grady County OK. It uses a cgi script on rootsweb. Feel free to use it. There's no need to develop one from scratch when a working one is already available from Rootsweb. Also, I tried the Bell and Atoka county search engines and they worked for me. 3. I am still working on getting my Archives County Search Engines to work. I have on Smith Archives the same thing that is on Limestone, Cass and Kaufman. I now am able to get up the page that says search but I checked all of your counties and if you put a name in you are getting the same thing I am. It does not bring up the document - just the page. There is some "Hot Dog HTML" at the bottom. Something is missing to make this work right or else there is something wrong with my computer. On Dana's her Web Page Site Engine is working but not the Archives. Mry Love

    3. Mary, I have search engines on several of my pages, (Bell Co., TX and Atoka, OK.) and none of them will work. If I type in a word and hit search, it goes to the next page, shows a number of hits and that as far as it goes. I went to the page for Ht:Dig, and they have upgraded to version htdig-3.2.0b211 Apr 2000 I am wondering if the code change has affected the ones we are using. Wondering if we should download the newer version, which is still being beta tested. Just a thought...
