    3. The 16 counties in question are in Darren's region. The CC does not control the archives. Please continue to upload to those 16 counties. I will continue to upload the 1936 births, maybe for several years, before I finish. LOL Nobody overwrites someone else's file on purpose. These things happen. I appreciate the work of this CC and all the work she has donated to the archives. She is not the archivist for those counties, Darren is. I expect this CC to contact Trey next, just as she contacted the Oklahoma SC when she had a problem with me. We'll see how far that gets. On return mail, I can not understand why the end (txt) is not active, it's definitely OK when I send it. Something happens in the transfer... I am going out of town for a couple of days but if you don't have it figured out by the time I get back, let me know and I will do what I can to help. The main thing you need to do is put them in your TOC and then start thinking about how you are going to do some kind of index. They are almost useless without one. We have the archives so the old records can be read by old folks (me) on old computers (dumb terminals even). That is why we do plain ASCII text. My web browser cannot read gif or jpg files. Maybe somebody would volunteer to help type them up.
