Ashworth and Mary (Polly) Perkins Ashworth of Burke, Angelina County, had a son Moses born about 1816. That would match the age of Moses in Bee County. My great-grand uncle Patrick Landrum, whose grandmother Vianna was the daughter of James J. told me about how some in the the family went to "Middle Texas" and engaged in the cattle business.
