Thanks Paula In your list you listed my g-grand mother 3 times and I still dont know the riddle of her life. She is the Mary E Keen that married my G-granfather CC Conner. and I think she was married before this to a Keen. Then she is the Emma Conner that married GW Keen and finally she is the Ellen Keen that married Obid Morris. How can a person find the maiden name of someone like this> She is a brickwall to find just her maiden name. On her Daughter's death certificate she is listed as Ellen Welch. Patty, Angelina Co. is located in far East Texas south-west of Nacogdoches Co. It is about half-way between Oklahoma and the Gulf of Mexico. It is heavily wooded and the Forest Products industry is very big, with several lumber mills (the biggest being in Diboll) and at least one paper mill. I hope this helps. Allen :-) Allen M.
