Nancy, I finally got directions to the Huntington Cemetery. I live about 25 miles away but go through Huntington often. Did you get any help on Jerrusia Smedley? If not I will be happy to look for her. I have a digital camera and I enjoy tromping around old cemeteries. Looking for info on the parents of ERNEST SPURGEON SMITH who was born in Lufkin on 7-28-1896. Parents are listed on SS records as WILLIAM ANDREW SMITH and CAROLINE ??? Can't read Caroline's maiden name but could possibly start with "Mo...." Ernest married Ada Wells who was born in Cleveland, Liberty County, Texas on 11-22-1900 to William A. Wells and Mary Squires. I am wondering if there is anyone out there willing to look/photograph a grave for me? My great great aunt Jerrusia Smedley I believe is buried in the Huntington cemetery. If, in fact, she is there, could someone take a picture of her grave for me? I am willing to wait until you finish your roll of film, or I could send a disposable camera and you could send it back to me.
