Mother's name listed as Sally Gaynell Hughes. I do not find another children listed for Oscar at all.

A distant cousin of mine, Mary J. Eddings, married a Richard S. Flowers Jan. 20, 1870 in Angelina County. I have not had time to research this branch. I do know they are listed in the 1880 Angelina CO. census. Her mother was Mary Curren Eddings and father was my gg-grandfather F. Jackson Eddings. Delaney past a way in 1918 in Angelina County. He was married two times first to a Ida Hopper that past on in 1882. They had three children. two of their children past away at born or very young. Their son Charles Obadiah Delaney was a Baptist Minister.My Grandfather second wife was my Grandmother Sarah E. Wilkerson Delaney. They had ten Children . They are buried in Berry Cemtery at Moffett, Angelina County. This William Delaney of your could be his father. I will see if I can fine him in one of the cencus after 1850 in that County. My Grandfather didn't show up till the 1880 cencus in Angelina married to Ira Hopper one child Obadish. I have send for his death certificate. I am hoping it has his parents name on it.
