Palestine Post Office James Barr, listed as Burr, age 24, born TN, $360 real estate, $100 personal Sarah, wife, age 20 or 21, born NC Sarah M "Sallie" Penry's family is listed as Tenery in the 1850 record but is written as PENERY and has been mis transcribed. Unable to pinpoint James Barr in the 1860 and 1850 census and not found in the 1880 record. W A Penry, born appx 1845 in NC was in Anderson county in 1870; wife Hellen, born appx 1850 in TN. Second wife of William was Haseltine "Tina"/Lovenia of MS. W A must be Sallie's brother and father of Mollie who is in the Matthew's household in 1900. I did not find W A Penry in the 1860 record nor the other Penry's. James and Mary Penry reappear in the 1880 census in Anderson county. I could not find them in the 1870 record either.
