Here is some information that I have about a Nathaniel Smith Middleton who you say is the brother of Joseph S. Middleton. Hope this helps. I have more on the Capps line but not the Middleton line. Johnny Smith NATHANIEL SMITH1 MIDDLETON was born August 26, 1836 in Cherokee County, Alabama, and died March 7, 1919 in Palestine, Anderson County, Texas. He married MARY JANE CAPPS October 13, 1863 in Anderson County, Texas, daughter of DIMON CAPPS and THIRSEY DUCKWORTH. She was born March 9, 1847 in Limestone County, Texas, and died November 1867 in Hillsboro, Hill County, Texas. Notes for MARY JANE CAPPS: First wife of Nathaniel Smith Middleton. Died when daughter was born. Children of NATHANIEL MIDDLETON and MARY CAPPS are: WILLIAM DIAMOND2 MIDDLETON, b. 1866. MARY JANE MIDDLETON, b. 1868. ----- Original Message ----- From: <dvdsds11@aol.com> To: <TXANDERS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, October 21, 2005 4:13 PM Subject: Re: MIDDLETON: John, Joseph, and Nathaniel > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/XiB.2ACI/850.870.1.1.1.1.2.1 > > Message Board Post: > > Hello!
