If you know what church denomination that they were affiliated with, some of the churches kept birth records, like the St. Philips Episcopal Church. I found my Dad and all of his brothers & sisters birth records there. I imagine that the Lutheran & Catholic churches keep records, too. Happy Hunting :) Frances
