I am new to this list and am looking for others researching the Ray family of Anderson County, TX. I am trying to join the Daughters of the Republic of TX and am in desperate need of a marriage record from the 1920's. I don't know the exact time of marriage but I strongly suspect it to be in 1920 or 1921. In fact I know it to be one of those years. Can anyone do a lookup on the county level for me? Perhaps I can trade a look up for those willing to look for me. Here are the names of the marriage... Jessie Army Murdock and Jacqueline Alcine Ray aka Jess Murdoch and Alcine Ray Alcine Ray b:1/5/1900 is the daughter of Reuben Warner Ray b:10/21/1872 and Nannie Lewis b: 1/27/1875. I am in the process of filling out the paper work for me membership to the DRT and a marriage record will be needed but the county just takes to long to respond. I am trying to save money right now so I am trying to avoid paying for a certified copy from the state along with a additional fee for the lookup in 1920 & early 1921. Can anyone help? Tara
