This is really a "brickwall". This lady would be my great-great grandmother and I would certainly like to determine her maiden name. Thanks!

Patsy: Have you checked for a marriage license in Henderson County, and the other surrounding counties. In looking at the 1850 census, Samuel D. Harden was living with the James Peters family, suppose his sister and her husband as there was also a Margaret Harden, age 59, living there as well. That family, based on those around it, were in the extreme NW end of the county, and it was much easier to get to Athens than to Palestine. Also a few families before the Peters family was a John Mosley with daughter Catharine, age 16, born TN. Though the age is off a bit, still she had a sister named Frances, so that might be a lead, since Catherine Harden had a daughter named Frances. It is very unlikely, almost like Ivory Soap, i.e., 99 & 44/100ths% certain, that you will find a Death Record for her in the courthouse in Palestine or anywhere else for that matter from that time period. Good luck, but I would definitely check Henderson County, Navarro County and Freestone County, since they all converged just about where the family was living in 1850.
