    3. Thank you Michael! I will check the other counties. Not being familiar with the area, didn't know the "good" possibilities. Yes, I do think she was the Mosley daughter shown in the 1850 census, but I am having a heck of a time proving it! I am going on the "assumption" that James Peters wife was his sister and Margaret his mother. I found a Margaret Hardin as head of household in the 1840 Bedford County, TN census along with a daughter of the correct age to have been Medlina (Malinda?). I am thinking this could be she. Have been perusing a "lot of Hardin/en/ing material trying to "find a husband" for Margaret, but that hasn't developed as of yet!
