Linda, I'm sure the CANSLER name you mentioned were a variation on my KUNTZLER/KINSLER family, located just north of Columbia, SC on the Broad River. I have a Catherine Kinsler that married into the Rebsamen family. Her daughter, in turn, married into the Hamiter family. My Anderson County connection with the Hamiters is through the Raines and McDaniel lines, but I would be happy to share any information you might need on the KINSLER family of SC. Other families in the immediate area (in SC) are REBSAMEN, HAMITER, DUBARD, PLYLER and Turnipseed. Please let me know if you need any information on these lines.
