Davis on Nov 14, 1878 in Webster County, GA. With John she had at least 4 children. Mary E. Davis b. 1880, Daniel Edgar Davis (my great grandfather) b. 5 Aug 1880, Jefferson E. Davis b. c1885, and William Elijah Davis b. c1887. Are you sure of her mother's name? Not that I have any solid proof, but I have been told that her mother's name was Margaret Purvis. Margaret Thomas died in Lamar county Texas. I don't know what happened to the girl, but, the tree boys moved to Harris County, TX, in and around Houston. Margaret and John had
