Surnames: Lowe, Wilson, Porter and Garrison Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XiB.2ACI/1288 Message Board Post: Looking for information on William Franklin Lowe (1855 to 1920) who bought property in Anderson County about 1914. William died in 1920. At least two sons remained in Anderson County, George Washington Lowe and Clayton Lowe. William's wife was Lura Garrison. Both William and Lura are buried in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Son, Clayton Lowe, married Doris Audrene Wilson, daughter of Henry Clarence Wilson and Marion Alice Porter. Would love more information on Marion. Marion and her sister, Lillian married brothers in a double ceremony (1900). Their father's name seems to have been A.T. Porter -- at least that's what is written on his tombstone. Clayton & Doris Lowe are buried in Broyles' Chapel cemetery as are Henry & Marion Wilson. Marion's father and sister share the plot. There is a tombstone listing John S. Wilson (Lillian's husband) but my dad tells me that his remains were moved to a cemetery in Palestine by his second wife.
