Charles Holder, born April 1880. 1900; Census Place: Justice Precinct 5, Anderson, Texas; Roll: T623 1607; Page: 7A; Enumeration District: 14. Martha C Holder, widow, indicated in the 1900 record that she had 2 children, 2 children living which is not accurate on number of children born. So did Charles die before 1900? Are you descendant from “C D” Holder ? In any event there was no Charles or Charlie Holder in the 1900 census born TX appx 1880 anywhere which does not mean he wasn‘t alive. So if you know anything of the older son being alive in 1900 then Charles probably died before 1900. Martha listed as border in household of widower John L Tucker born abt 1849 in GA and his children. Martha married John Tucker in 1901. In the 1910 record Martha Tucker said she was the mother of 4 children of which 2 are living. The record indicates her parents were from TN, age 58 in this record. Minnie L Holder married John C Hughes appx 1888. Minnie L Hughes born 4/1870 in Texas, father from AL and mother TX.
