Marlin...in Prcenct #1, Anderson Co. in 1880 census. Shown as widower...am trying to find name of his wife. Not sure if she died before or after he came to Texas. Son Thomas Jefferson Marlin married Martha Caroline Potter (father Silas Potter)---about 1876, reportedly in Anderson Co. Children Mary Olive 1877, Josie 1881 and Jesse 1883 were born there. They moved to Brown Co. in 1885. Is there a marriage index that would give a date or confirm the marriage?
