Surnames: George Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XiB.2ACI/1671 Message Board Post: I am looking for a helpful person to please look up a obit in the Anderson County Tribune for Warren George, Jr. who was a B-17 bomber pilot in WWII that was shot down over Germany in April of 1943, later according to a newspaper article in July of 1943, he was a POW. Need to know if he died in the plane incident or in the POW camp. Also would like copy of the obit. He was a student and football player at Sam Houston State Teachers College in 1941 and I am doing research on him. Any other information would be very much appreciated ! Thank You! Barbara
