Can anyone tell me anything about the Centenary Church? I think it is an African American church. I am researching one of the first black legislators in Texas, a Shepherd Mullins who married Sallie Downs. Their marriage license was obtained in McLennan Co. where they lived, but their marriage is found in the records of the Centenary Church. Any help appreciated. Cathy Wood Osborn
