Jennie Hortman born 1883 - could be Barbour Co, AL - Only place in Alabama I have found the Hortman surname - m'd James M Nelms in Elkhart, TX......... Children were Lorene, Paxton, Willard, Argen & Clarace James M Nelms was the son of Thomas A Nelms b1852 & wife Rebecca b1852 of Georgia & was a cousin to the Thomas Holland Nelms of Pennington. Thomas A was son of Jesse H Nelms b 1811, son of Thomas Nelms of GA. Lorene m'd Frank Hall Wortham in Elkhart.......... Is it possible there might be someone out there with a little knowledge of these two families or members of these families? Linda
