Charles E Woodard (b 1757 SC? d Dec 1843 Marengo Co. AL.) and Rebecca (b 1776 SC, Greenville Dist. died 1856 in Anderson Co. TX ) had 10 children, all born, I believe, in Greenville District SC before 1812. Then the family moved to Clarke Co. AL, most of the children marrying there and living there (--or Marengo Co. AL) until their deaths. Moses Woodard and James B Woodard came to Anderson Co. TX in Dec 1851 in a wagon train that included Harrisons, Blacks, Days, Whites, and other early Anderson Co. residents. His wife, Telitha Harrison was the dtr of Nathaniel Harrison (b 9 Mar 1787 in Edgefield? SC, d 24 Feb 1871 in Marengo Co. AL, having formerly lived in Clarke Co. AL) He was married in SC Greenville District to Mary Zimmerman/Timmerman/Birdsong (still haven't found a marriage record) She was b 1 Jan 1793 in Greenville Dist. SC and died 21 Feb 1877 in Clarke Co. AL. They had 11! children, most of whom married in Clarke Co. AL. Telitha and James B Woodard brought their 10 children (all born in Clarke or Marengo Co. AL) to Anderson Co. and have many descendants in the area.
