Surnames: gossett Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/XiB.2ACI/129.1003.1039.1.1.1 Message Board Post: i have also been researching that line. i have very little info, but maybe something will be helpful to you. john redmond is my gg-gf (my mother's father's father). most of our records have been lost,so what i have is mostly from older relatives. it was related to me that john redmond lived in llano with his first wife (do not know her name). she passed away leaving several small children (my g-f included). redmond decided to drive all of his cattle across texas to try to better their lives. at this time i think he ended up in anderson county around the palestine area (???). it is my understanding that he remarried at this time. possibly somone named sara. my gf was borned in 1884, so it is possible that mary ann was his mother, but i'm not sure. does any of this make sense to your research ?? like i said, i hve not been able to verify any of this because i did not have a name for the wife. gee, i REALLY hope this rings a bell !!!
