Through the generosity of members of the East Texas Genealogical Society and the Anderson County Genealogical Society the 1930 Anderson County Census images are now archived on the Anderson County USGenWeb Archives page. They are available for all researchers to use -- free of charge. In order to maximize their usefulness, however, an index must be created and also placed on line. Beverly Bailey Odom is coordinating volunteers to do this simple job of full-name indexing. Others working on the project are Mike Vaughn, Pauline Pierce, Mike Stanley, Pat Skidmore, Kathy Moore Odom, Sunshine Knowles & Sharon Trigg Bragg. We need more volunteers to get this done quickly.
