There will be a "Roll Call" of these men on Saturday November 9th at the Old City Cemetery, 3 blocks southeast of the Court House in Palestine. Starting time is 10:00 AM, and will last until about noon. Descendants of Confederate Veterans are invited to attend the ceremony and answer "Here" or "Present" when their ancestor's name is called. Confederate reenactors with artillery and muskets will fire salutes during the service. Bring a chair! There are 455 names to call! No RSVP necessary.
