    3. Mary, Thanks so much for the info. Every little bit helps the pieces fit together! I hope to make a trip to Palestine very soon, It is beautiful, especially this time of year. The marriage cert. was the first concrete proof of his name for sure. W. H. died young and so did his son, Walter E., so there wasn't much info passed down. I will certainly check out your info, this is the first I've heard of J. D Johnston, I think I'll start there.
