Ringo b. ca 1825 in Mo, s/o Peter Ringo and Edy Jones. He married Sarah Ann Dodson in Red River Co, Tx on 12-16-1849. In a deposition made in Houston, TX Sarah Ann Ringo, age 25, on 5-6-1853, said she is a widow of Abraham B. Ringo who was a private in Capt Sims Company, Colonel Hay's Regiment of Texas Mounted Volunteers. Abraham Ringo was mustered out June 5, 1847 at San Antonio with a bay gelding. Sarah Ann Ringo applied for a bounty land. A claim for 40 acres was admitted. Abraham and Sarah Ann Ringo had one daughter, Elenora Ringo, b. 1851 in Tx.
