Just remember that in 1850, there were only 22 states and territories, and that in my 1840, & 1910 census's , I will need the name of the state and the county you want looked at. all other census years are fully searchable for heads of household. 3. It sounds like someone on the list may have their account set up to avoid SPAM. The message is usually bounced back to the sender and to the administrator of the list. Since you are getting bounces from what sounds like other list members, I would think this is the case. It might also be RootsWeb doing the bouncing but that usually only happens when something is attached to the email or if your message contains something that might be construed as an advertisement. Even a signature file can be returned as a bounce because some of the new ones are "attached" to the message rather than embedded. The only way to know for sure is to look at all the headers in your bounce notice and I don't know if you can do that in your yahoo mail. (It's been a while since I used them.) Gina

    3. I have some Parkers. Which ones are you looking for? Mine are: John C.Parker married Ninnie Patrick Campbell in Leon Co. late 1800s and died abt 1899. (lived short time in Anderson Co.)Barney Parker b.abt 1889. Then I have from a seperate line, Esther Mae Parker, married Wood Campbell abt. 1928 in Anderson Co. I am doing this from memory so I would have to look up actual dates. Do any of these names fit in your research? Karen Moore Kerr __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? 3. We are looking to share information with anyone researching John M. MURPHEY (b. 30 Aug 1843, d. 5 Dec 1929) and his wife Julia Ann JORDAN (b. 30 Jul 1847, d. 18 Dec 1929). According to information from my wife's grandmother, John and Julia MURPHEY are buried somewhere around Frankston TX. We believe at least one of their children is buried there too. One of their other sons, Pierce Fulton MURPHEY, was born in Hood County TX in 1882, so they came to Anderson County sometime after his birth if my wife s grandmother's information is correct. Thanks! ___ Scott and Gwen Green LeRoy IL [email protected]
